Marine Conservation Society

I’ve always loved  being at the beach. When you’re a child on your annual two week holiday with bucket and spade in hand, you take it for granted that there will be miles of golden sandy beaches for you to enjoy, sparkling clean seas to paddle in and rock pools full of amazing creatures to sit and gaze at. But sadly it is obvious that the marine environment and its inhabitants need protection.

Seal watching in Pembrokeshire

On our beachcombing sessions I love to find beautiful pieces of sea glass and pottery and interesting forms and textures, but sadly too often we find sea birds washed up that have become entangled in mono-filament and so, so much plastic litter that is so harmful.

We try to do our bit by collecting any litter we find but I wanted to do more, which is why I contacted the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) to see how I could help raise funds for their amazing work. It all started with a Starfish Bangle which was designed to sell with 10% of sales going to MCS, last Christmas I added the Shoreline earrings and I was amazed by the sales and the support that MCS supporters gave to my  business.

This Christmas to increase the donation I will be giving 10% of all sales across the collections in October, November and December.Marine Conservation Society Donation

Huge thank you to everyone who has made a purchase and made it possible for my little business to be able to support the MCS who do such an amazing job protecting and caring for the seas shores and wildlife.
